Understanding Divestor’s And Why It’s A “Self” Based Movement

I am not running for President. I gain nothing from people “joining” or agreeing with divestors because, divestment isn’t a political movement and we don’t need votes to exist or grow. It’s self based, meaning a Black woman comes to a conclusion on her own that she is safer with other races than her own. That’s not something I can force on people who haven’t had the same experiences with Black people. It would make no sense for a Black woman who was raised in a healthy caring environment to be able to comprehend what I’ve been through and how that’s shaped my opinion. Most Divestors come from abuse and some forms of neglect that’s lasted years. You don’t just wake up and denounce your race’s toxicity. No one wants to turn their back on their own people. You get forced to after years of apathy and abusive interactions.

I’m actually non confrontational for the most part. I don’t believe in forcing God on people who do not believe in God and the same goes for anyone who believes the Black community is above criticism.
