It’s not about marrying anyone Black or White.

It's about not being responsible for other people's feelings on how you live your life

Black people and people who want to control our image will get emotional when we do not behave ghetto or stereotypical and divesting is literally no longer caring about that trauma bonding. Seriously stop trauma bonding with strangers over being poor and the ghetto. Stop creating that life for yourself to be trapped in. Words are power.

You don't have to care if your Black mom thinks you’re weird for speaking proper english. Do what makes you feel good about yourself. Don't live inside anyones black idea of you.
